Non-urgent advice: COVID-19 Notice

You can now contact our GP practice through the NHS App. Simply use the form – or online consultation – to tell us about your symptoms. A member of our practice will come back to you. We might be able to give you the help and advice you need, without you having to phone or come into the practice. This is really useful during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, as it helps keep our patients and staff safe by reducing the risk of infection. We provide this service using eConsult and the service is quick, convenient, safe and secure. You can get more information about accessing health services online at www.nhs.uk/health-at-home. Out of Hours and Emergencies

The NHS 111 service is a new free NHS telephone number.

NHS 111 is how you access out of hours GP services.

The service operates 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, 365 days per year.

Calls to 111 will be assessed, advice given and, if needed, patients will be directed to the most appropriate local health services. This could be Accident and Emergency (A&E), an urgent care centre, an out of hours GP, a community nurse, a walk-in centre, an emergency dentist or a pharmacy.

There are now only three numbers to know: 999 for life-threatening emergencies, your GP surgery telephone number and 111.

Calls to 111 are free, including from mobiles. For more information, including leaflets about NHS 111 in different languages, please visit the NHS Choices website. NHS Choices also has lots of health information including symptom checkers.
